On Sunday, we keep the party going with a social session at the home London Spikers Volleyball Club - Mulberry Academy Sports Centre! With 3 volleyball courts and a viewing gallery, we have plenty of space to accommodate all LIVE participants.

To wrap things up, will head to London Spikers favourite Shoreditch pub - The Spread Eagle. There is no ticket required for this event. Players can arrive from 16:00 and stay for as long as they like.

Tournament Format

Volleyball games will follow FIVB rules, with standard menโs volleyball net height of 2.43 metres
Limited balls provided for warm-up, please bring one for your team to have
Tournament brackets will be managed through Tournify, info will be shared directly with Team Captains
Air-horns will signal the start and end of match phases (INCLUDING WARM UP TIME)
Lunch pick-up by Team Captains available from 12PM

Group/Bracket phase: Round-robin matches in each division pool
Matches timed at 45 minutes (incl 3 minute warm up) OR 2 x sets (25 points each)
Wins award 2 match points
No tiebreaker set, 1-1 will count at ties and award 1 match point to each team
No 2-point difference
Medals phase: Best-of-3 sets
Matches timed at 45 minutes, each set 25 points (tiebreaker 15 points)
Tiebreaker cannot end in tie, last point has to be played out even after time
No 2-point difference
Referees:
Professional first referees will watch over 2 x courts
Referees are responsible for whistling the start of each game after warm-up
Refereeing support duties (scoring, lines etc) assigned to teams randomly via Tournify
Refereeing team is required to submit scoring into Tournify after signing off with both Team Captains
Referees on the third court will need to act as first refs as well
Missing your referee slot or score submission WILL result in point deductions

Yes, you need to pay for the full team in one go in order to complete your teamโs registration.

Only the captain needs to complete the registration form and pay the full registration price for the whole team.

Yes, this year you can register your interest as an individual player or partial team. In these cases we cannot guarantee you a place in the tournament, but we will try our best to introduce you to other players.

No. Once we can create a full team, we will ask for payment. Payment will taken from individuals or groups of people who know each other.

Ensure that your team captain has submitted your dietary restrictions in the registration form.

Spectators are welcome during the tournament day on Saturday 25/10 at all venues.
However, spectators will not have access to the catering services on the day and need to arrange their own sustenance.

LEVEL A
Advanced.
Equivalent to upper divisions of city/regional leagues
LEVEL B
Intermediate
Players should adhere to positioning rules and have a good control of the ball. Expect strong serves, spikes and blocking.
LEVEL C
Beginner/ Recreational
Should have an understanding of the rules and aim for 3 touches.
